Superflat Pop
Superflat pop is a contemporary art style founded by Takashi Murakami in 2001. It is primarily a Japanese art movement and features manga characters, neon or pastel colors, a 2D art style, fantasy imagery, bold lines, and geometric shapes. It's primarily seen in fashion through collaborations with artists in the genre for the usage of their art, prints, and motifs on garments. One of the most notable is the collaboration between Murakami and Louis Vuitton.
