Wacky Pomo
Wacky pomo was popular from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s, built on cartoonish visuals borrowed from 1940s to 1960s animation. Its palette runs highly saturated, with artificial lighting and neon accents, and its motifs take in zigzags, blobs, spirals, squiggles, gears, and geometric forms. Outfits are extremely colorful. Bright patterns cover them, alongside childhood motifs like cartoon characters and toys.
