An internet-born maximalist aesthetic popular in the early 2010s that fused Japanese kawaii culture with Western rainbow and candy-rave excess, pushing color saturation and accessory layering to joyful extremes across platforms like Tumblr and DeviantArt. Adjacent to fairy kei but more aggressively colorful. Common pieces include rainbow or neon-colored tutu skirts layered over multicolor tights, graphic character-print crop tops, platform creepers or chunky sneakers in pastel colorways, oversized bows, brightly colored circle lenses, dozens of stacked plastic bangles and rings, and pastel or rainbow-streaked wigs.
