No. We don’t generate or alter images. Our AI is purely analytical — it interprets the images you upload and finds real, purchasable matches from our partner catalog.

We’re constantly working to grow our catalog and work with more small brands. We do not have perfect matches for all styles, meaning not all matches will be perfect, but we’re always trying to improve both our AI model and our product catalog.

Photos uploaded via the Style Me feature are processed to generate your style recommendations and are not permanently stored on our servers after processing is complete. We only store an embedding of the image, which is a mathematical representation of an image that cannot be reverse engineered to produce the original image, and information related to style preferences for users with accounts.

No. Images you upload are used solely to generate your personal style recommendations. We do not use your photos to retrain or improve our AI model without your explicit, opt-in consent.

No personal data is shared with retail partners. When you click through to a partner’s site, standard web referral data (such as that you came from Mavira and a timestamp) may be passed — but not your name, email, or any profile information.

Yes — Mavira is built specifically as a fast fashion alternative. Every piece on the platform comes from an independent designer or a vetted secondhand seller, so you’re getting clothing that’s higher quality, more unique, and often comparable in price — without the environmental and labor costs of fast fashion.
