Soviet nostalgia is a post-Soviet aesthetic romanticizing the USSR through retro imagery and memory of the communist era, sentimentalizing the period while leaving its hardships out. Soviet athletic wear carries it. Military surplus garments fill out the rest. Grey or olive utilitarian clothing covers the palette. Ushanka fur hats sit on top, with CCCP or Soviet insignia-adorned items throughout.
