Weimar Cabaret

This refers to Cabaret performed in 1920s Berlin, which often features songs, dances, sketches and other performances as well as banter. They were often satirical, sophisticated, and explored themes like gender fluidity, and ended as a result of the rise of the Nazis. Outfits inspired by this period include flapper dresses and suits (sometimes worn by the opposite gender), ornate beading, top hats, feathered headbands, corsets, and sheer black pantyhose.
