Also known as Catalan Art Nouveau, this art movement in the late 19th century began as a largely architectural movement and within style represented a move away from Victorian traditions. Some key elements were forms and naturalism with an emphasis on simplicity and minimalism, which is heavily featured in the modern interpretation of this aesthetic.
