Pop Surrealism
Pop surrealism is an underground visual art movement that emerged in 1960s Los Angeles, folding in underground comix, punk, tiki, graffiti, and hot-rod cultures. Humor runs through most of it. The fashion follows suit, staying colorful throughout. Everyday objects appear on garments in deliberately funny ways, or in ways that read simply whimsical.
