Oji girl emerged in 2010, its name combining the Japanese words for uncle and girl. Vintage, uncle, and British dress supply the references, in a natural color palette. Clothes run baggy and layered. Pants are worn with suspenders and rolled at the ankle. Neckties, berets, fedoras, scarves, vests, and oversized glasses fill out the accessories, with wingtipped shoes or oxfords below.
