Y2K Futurism
Y2K futurism centered on the technology of the future as the millennium pictured it, working through futuristic colors, textures, and silhouettes, metallics, blues, and frosty tones above all. Blobby curved shapes and translucent products defined the objects, and the same qualities show in the clothing. A cool color palette carries it, with metallics and smooth, reflective fabrics. Mini skirts, low rise pants, and knee high boots cover the lower half. Mod-inspired dresses, jumpsuits, and shirts or bodysuits with cutouts fill out the rest, finished with bold sunglasses.
