8 Bit
8-bit is a retro-digital aesthetic drawn from the visual language of early computers and consoles like the Atari 2600, NES, and Commodore 64, where pixel art and tightly limited color palettes defined every image. Nostalgia for early gaming brought it back in the 2000s, and what it celebrates is lo-fi digital craftsmanship. Garments carry large pixelated graphics or sprite-art prints. Blocky geometric color-blocking follows the same logic. Retro game controller or character embroidery and grid-pattern knitwear extend it, with accessories styled to resemble power-ups or classic joysticks.
