Straight Edge

This is a subculture of hardcore punk emerging during the 1980s, where members abstain from alcohol, tobacco, and recreational drugs. X is an important symbol, often worn on clothing and outfits are often stripped-down versions of punk looks, typically including plain jeans or khakis, t-shirts, and functional footwear like sneakers.
