A speculative retrofuturistic aesthetic imagining a world powered by mythical 'aether' rather than steam or electricity, placing fantastical flight, floating islands, and luminous energy at its center. Lighter and more mystical in tone than steampunk, it draws from 19th-century scientific romanticism and high fantasy. Common pieces include pearl-white or sky-blue structured coats with faintly luminous trim, ornate goggles with iridescent lenses, fitted high-collared blouses in silk or brocade, layered skirts suggesting flight and lightness, and jewelry incorporating glowing or frosted glass elements.
