Atompunk
Atompunk is a retrofuturistic aesthetic imagining an alternate history in which the optimistic atomic future of the 1950s actually arrived, all nuclear-powered cities, rocket cars, and Cold War utopia. The visual world of the Fallout video game series is its closest relative. Retrofuturistic jumpsuits come in silver and turquoise. Bowling-shirt-style atomic-age prints and wide-shouldered structured dresses follow the Populuxe palette. Bakelite or chrome jewelry, ray-gun or rocket ship accessories, sleek pompadours, and pencil skirts complete it.
