Raygun gothic is a retrofuturistic aesthetic drawn mainly from the 1940s and 1950s, built on a brightly colored art style close to comics, mid-century modern design, chrome, and glowing neon. Outfits carry bright retro colors. Chrome supplies the surface. 40s and 50s pieces shape the garments, cut with sharp lines and silhouettes.
