Pastel Southwestern

This is a design aesthetic that was popular from the early 1980s-mid 1990s, fusing together southwestern styles with pastel colors. Kokopelli (geometric patterns from Indigenous art) was also popular. Outfits inspired by this aesthetic feature a pastel color palette, and southwestern inspired garments such as long, flowing skirts, dresses, and tops, cowboy boots, and side brimmed hats. They often feature Indigenous inspired patterns or florals.
