Paleontologist takes its cues from the profession, drawing on dinosaurs, fossil excavation, and an academic sensibility. The clothing is what someone would actually wear to a dig site, in shades of green, brown, and tan. Button up shirts and Hawaiian shirts cover the tops. Safari jackets and vests go over them. Khaki trousers or shorts cover the bottoms, held by leather belts. Hiking boots or steel-toed boots go below with long socks. Boonie or cowboy hats, sunglasses, fossil jewelry, rucksacks, and walking sticks complete it.
