Adventure Pulp

An aesthetic inspired by the adventure pulp magazines of the 1930s-40s such as 'Adventure,' 'Argosy,' and 'Doc Savage,' which depicted rugged explorers, jungle expeditions, and daring heroics in painted cover art. This look romanticizes pre-war masculine adventure and globe-trotting discovery. Common pieces include khaki or olive safari shirts with multiple pockets, worn leather jackets, wide-brim explorer hats, canvas cargo trousers, leather satchels or messenger bags, sturdy lace-up boots, and compass or map-motif accessories.
