Sportif
Sportif refers to sports-inspired clothing where the source garments are transformed into fashion pieces rather than simply worn casually. Cuts and materials do the elevating, and the pieces are often set against more formal clothing. Fitted windbreakers are one example. A track jacket worn with a skirt or dress pants is another. Cropping a jersey works the same way, as does taking a tracksuit and changing its color palette.
