Military Goth

This subculture emerged out of the post-punk and industrial music scenes of the 1970s and 1980s, with people buying pieces from army surplus stores such as coats, combat boots, cargo pants, and webbed belts. Typical pieces came to include: a trench coat or greatcoat, crisp, high-collared shirts in black or olive, and heavy black leather combat boots or jackboots that were polished to shine.
