Military Goth

Military goth emerged out of the post-punk and industrial music scenes of the 1970s and 1980s, built from army surplus store buys: coats, combat boots, cargo pants, and webbed belts. The wardrobe settled into a recognizable form. A trench coat or greatcoat carries the silhouette. Crisp high-collared shirts in black or olive go underneath. Heavy black leather combat boots or jackboots go below, polished to a shine.
