Auroracore
Auroracore takes its palette from the northern and southern lights, working in shifting iridescent colors, lime green, magenta, violet, and teal, that mimic the spectral display of polar skies. Social media picked it up in the early 2020s alongside holographic fashion trends. Iridescent or color-shifting holographic fabrics are the foundation. Hair is aurora-dyed or ombre-dyed in green-to-pink-to-purple gradients. Sheer layered organza comes in gradient colorways. Translucent vinyl accessories, metallic or oil-slick finish outerwear, and luminous highlighter-heavy makeup complete it.
