Social Realism

This was an art movement most prominent in 1930s America, focusing on the conditions of the working class, and the lives of every day Americans. The modern style interpretation of this aesthetic incorporates workwear into outfits, often featuring denim and khaki as well as skirts and dresses in neutral tones inspired by the 1930s.
