Plazacore is a preppy aesthetic that emerged on TikTok in the early 2020s, named for the Plaza Hotel. Its reference points are the Eloise books and Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl, and the result reads Upper East Side. Tweed blazer and skirt sets carry it. Babydoll dresses, often with a Peter Pan collar, cover the rest. Cape coats and cardigans layer over the top. Tights go underneath, with mary janes or ballet flats below and hair bows and headbands on top.
