Parisian Emo

This is a subgenre of emo music originating from France in the early 2000s, characterized by emotional and introspective lyrics, melodic guitar riffs, and raw vocal delivery. Fashion inspired by this aesthetic merge French early 2000s style with those of emo. Styles include a largely black and grey color palette, plaid, lace, mini and midi skirts, high neck buttoned jackets and vests, knee high laced up boots, and gothic inspired jewelry.
