Mid Century Medieval

Mid-century medieval became popular across the 1960s and 1970s, reimagining the visuals and dress of the Middle Ages through modern, kitschy design. Flowing dresses and gowns carry it. Tunics cover the same ground. Cloaks go over the top, with embroidery throughout. Modern silhouettes and bright colors are what mark it as a reimagining rather than a reconstruction.
