Glasgow Style

Glasgow style is a Scottish variant of Art Nouveau from the early 1900s, associated above all with Charles Rennie Mackintosh and central to the city's artistic identity. Mackintosh-influenced clothing carries it. Art Nouveau geometric garments make up the base. Rose motifs recur throughout. Linear patterns cover the surfaces, in a register drawn from the Glasgow School of Art.
