Dadaism

Dadaism was an anti-art movement running from 1916 to 1924, built on absurdity, chaos, and meaninglessness in rejection of traditional artistic values. As dress it becomes anti-fashion. Deliberately absurd accessories carry the argument. Outfits are assembled by chance rather than intention, and the result functions as a conceptual statement more than a garment.
