Bubble Goth

Bubble goth is a playful goth variant mixing dark elements with pastel colors, kawaii influences, and whimsical accessories, coined by Kerli in 2012 and built on the contrast between cute and dark. Black and pastel pieces are worn together rather than in alternation. Fishnet tights and platform boots supply the goth half. Pastel-colored hair and gothic cross accessories in candy-bright colors supply the other, with spiky textures throughout.
