Tumblr alt is an alternative style that gained popularity on Tumblr during the 2010s. Goth, punk, and grunge supplied the influences, but the outfits stayed wearable day to day. Mini skirts cover the bottoms. Fishnets or sheer leggings go underneath. Band tees cover the tops. Dr Martens go below, with chokers at the throat and distressed denim throughout.
