Shounensou
Shounensou is a Japanese aesthetic in which the wearer emulates the idealized image of boys in fiction, regardless of their own gender. Styles vary widely, since the wearer is encouraged to take inspiration from a favorite bishounen work or character. Collared blouses cover the tops. Trousers cover the bottoms. Vests and blazers layer over them, with ribbon ties, sock garters, and suspenders. Colors stay simple and monotone, running neutral, jewel-toned, or navy, and patterns are rare.
