A subgenre of fantasy that blends together the medieval period with magical or fantastical elements such as mythic creatures. Likewise, the style blends together these elements, featuring medieval inspired dresses, blouses, skirts, and pants with shiny and iridescent fabrics, crowns, jewels, and other fantastical elements.
