Mannish Style
Mannish style is a Japanese aesthetic of masculine-focused fashion, most often worn by women. Men's clothing gets worn oversized, which is what accentuates the feminine line underneath. The outfits are meant to look borrowed, as though the pieces came from a partner's wardrobe. Tailored jackets and knit vests layer over oversized dress shirts. Wide slack pants cover the bottoms. Trench coats or chester coats go over the top, with logo t-shirts and a monochromatic palette throughout.
