This style is inspired by what one might wear to court and has gained popularity in recent years due to several high-profile cases, some featuring celebrities. It often features slacks or a long skirt, a white blouse (sometimes with a waistcoat over top), and sometimes a tie. Color palettes are pretty neutral, featuring black, white, navy blue, and dark brown, and the only common patterns being pinstripes.
