Chonga is a Latina working-class aesthetic from Miami, built on hoop earrings and urban Latina style as a specific Latinx cultural identity. Cropped tops and skin-tight jeans or leggings make up the core. Hoop earrings are the defining accessory. Platforms or heels go below, in a register that reads South Florida throughout.
