Chic Noir

Chic noir is an entirely black outfit worn in a dressed-up, sophisticated register rather than a casual one. Black slacks form the base. A blouse or turtleneck goes above them. A long wool coat or blazer finishes the silhouette. Texture does the work color usually would, through velvet, leather, or lace, with small accents like gold jewelry permitted.
