Alternative
Alternative is an umbrella term for non-mainstream fashion that rejects conventional trends through a range of subcultural styles, rooted in punk and indie culture and built on individuality and countercultural expression. Band tees and black skinny jeans are the common denominator. Studded accessories and layered chokers add the punk edge. Platform shoes and dyed hair complete it, with goth influences mixed throughout.
